Buffalo has met with some success in offering their LinkTheater HD media streamer in Japan, and they have now decided to grace the US with a release here.
The US will only get one of the LinkTheater HD media streamers in the line, the LT-H90LAN.
This device will allow the streaming of HD content, although only 720p/1080i, from compatible media servers, PCs and Macs, and USB hard drives.
The LinkTheater HD will also automatically back-up your content from USB drives that are flash based and video cameras if plugged into the right port.
The LinkTheater HD media streamer will be available in the US starting later this month for a modest price of $199.
