D-Link has finally released their DSM-750 Wireless N HD Media Extender.
This product was supposed to come out in the second quarter of last year, but we are only just now seeing the product hit the shelves. Luckily the DSM-750 is going to ship with all the features touted at CES 2007 when the product was first unveiled.
The purchasers of this media extender can access content directly from their PC, USB Flash drives, or network attached storage devices through D-Link’s Media Lounge mode.
One aspect in which this device is pretty strong is the wide array of available outputs, with availability for S-Video, component, composite, optical digital audio, coaxial and HDMI.
Unfortunately, this unit is only capable of 1080i output, even when using the HDMI connection. For the pretty hefty price of $329.99, one would assume that 1080p capability would be achievable, but apparently not.
The D-Link DSM-750 Wireless N HD Media Extender is available for purchase now for $329.99.
