Pioneer has announced 4 new AV receivers today at CES. These 4 new receivers will be low to mid-range offerings priced from $199 to $599.
The VSX-518-K, VSX-818V-K, VSX-918V-K, and VSX-1018TXH-K will all be respectable new products, with support for 5.1 channel surround sound as well as 1080p HDMI upscaling and loads of inputs/outputs.
However, the VSX-1018TXH-K will set itself apart from the others by delivering 130 watts over 7.1 channels and include support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio codecs.
All these units will hit the shelves in April.
