In more Marantz related news, it appears as if a new HDMI switcher is in the works.
Marantz will soon launch a new HDMI switcher with 6 inputs. With very few switchers extending beyond 4 inputs, this product will be a welcome addition to the market.
Allowing for a greater range of component hookups, the Marantz VS3002 will most definitely appeal to any home theater enthusiasts with a setup that extends beyond the normal level of complexity.
The VS3002 will also include device auto-detection, a remote control, and will support HDMI’s Deep Color standard.
Unfortunately, this product is currently only slated for a Japanese release for a price of $310.
However, the emerging home theater market in the US will warrant a US release eventually I imagine.
